HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Another Halloween down at our house!  Ariel and our little Tiger took the neighborhood and collected lots of candy.  Payton also enjoyed coming home and passing out candy to trick or treaters on the front porch.  She was so funny.  She would yell "Happy Halloween!" to each trick or treater as she put candy in their bags.  And of course she had to sample the candy she was handing out!

Pumpkin Patch

We had such a great time at the Pumpkin Patch with our good friends, the Cox's, including a super fun hayride!  To top it off, it was a beautiful fall day.

First Day of PreSchool

I know I have been so bad about keeping up with the blog!  Sorry for that.  I guess since Tyler arrived, I have just been soaking up every minute with the kids.  It's amazing how fast the time flies.  And of course, they keep me very busy!  

So, instead of trying to post all that has been going on the last few months, I thought I would start fresh with what is going on now!  Today was Payton's first day of preschool.  She was so excited all morning and then she got a little nervous in the car on the way.  She's so cute about it.  Such a confident, independent girl but as soon as she realized it was time to go to her new class, she said, "mommy, PLEASE come in with me, I'm scared."  How could I deny that?  So, instead of carpool this morning, mommy and Tyler walked her in to her class.  As soon as she saw everyone she was totally fine.  Back to the Miss Independent that we know and love!

Our Newest Addition!

Tyler James Long joined us four weeks ago, on March 4th at 2:11pm.  He weighted in at 6lbs 13oz and 19 1/2 inches.  He is perfect!  We are all spending time getting to know the newest member of our family.  Payton has been a big help and seems to really be loving her new baby brother!  We are also very thankful for all the help from family and the fabulous dinners from friends.  It has definitely made for an easier transition!

Happy New Year!

Can you believe it's 2011?!  My how time flies.  And speaking of time...8 more weeks till we meet baby boy Long #2!!  There has been lots of work going on in the house to get ready for our new addition.
So much has happened in 2011.  First, our big snow storm!  It has had us trapped inside for days now and I think we are all experiencing a bit of cabin fever!  Second and most exciting is our new National Champions....AUBURN TIGERS!!!  I'm still in the clouds over this one.  But don't worry, new gear has been ordered and we will all be wearing it proudly very soon.  WARRRR EAGLE!!!!!  Oh and Happy New Year!
